This page features a selection of projects I have worked on over the past 7 years. Mainly large-scale construction projects in Latvia where the detailed technical design (DTD) was developed in BIM. Some projects are publicly known, others are smaller objects where BIM was applied for specific purposes.
My BIM work in each project is shown as follows:
A series of standardized building projects across Latvia — over 30 emergency response centres (ERCs). The owner is the State Provision Agency (NVA); the centres will be used by the State Fire and Rescue Service (VUGD), State Police, and Emergency Medical Service.
The standardized designs come in A, B, C, and D categories based on population density — from 600 m² for the smallest to 4,500 m² for the largest. Some centres are already operational, others are under construction, and some are still in the design phase.

Class A office complex in central Riga, 13,500 m². Three interconnected buildings, opened in 2025. Main tenant: SEB Bank.
The project received the Latvian Construction Year Award 2025 for a new public building, as well as first place in two "Digital Construction Excellence Award 2025" categories — BIM design and BIM construction. BREEAM Outstanding certification at 89.9% — the highest rating for new buildings in the Baltic region.
BIM coordination 4D progress As-built BIM
The first high-speed rail and airline connection hub in the Baltic region. A three-level station building positioned on a 10-metre-high railway viaduct. The project includes 6 km of railway line, a 1,500-metre viaduct, and a 113-metre overpass crossing K. Ulmaņa gatve.
The most significant infrastructure project in the Baltics in the past 100 years. The station will connect Riga Airport with Riga Central Station via a 15-minute high-speed link to the city centre. Part of the Rail Baltica route connecting Tallinn, Riga, Kaunas, and Warsaw.

A mixed-use complex in Pārdaugava with a total area of approximately 110,000 m². The first phase includes a Class A office centre, a Holiday Inn hotel, and commercial space with the first rooftop football pitch in the Baltic region.
One of the largest real estate development projects in Riga over the past ten years. Designed to meet the BREEAM Excellent sustainability standard.

Class A office complex in Skanste, 33,500 m². Two connected buildings with a total leasable area of 21,000 m². Completed and put into operation in 2023.
Designed to meet the BREEAM Excellent sustainability standard and nZEB (nearly zero-energy building) requirements.
BIM coordination
Class A office complex in the Skanste district, 61,400 m² total area across seven buildings. I have worked on the first phase of the complex — two buildings.

BIM coordination 4D progress As-built BIM
Class A office complex in central Riga at Marijas iela 2A, 32,000 m². A seven-storey building with two underground levels. From the outside it looks like four separate buildings, but it is actually a unified complex — the facades were intentionally designed to differ, blending into the city's historic streetscape.
The project received LEED Gold sustainability certification. Completed and put into operation in 2024.
BIM coordination
Office building renovation at Katlakalna iela 11E, 3,600 m², 6 floors. A Soviet-era industrial building transformed into a modern Class A office centre, preserving and showcasing the original load-bearing structures.
The project was nominated for "Best Building of the Year in Latvia 2021". Architect: Harijs Alsiņš (Alsins Architecture). Completed and put into operation in 2023.
